Supplemental Benefits
Supplemental insurance benefits are voluntary benefits that provide additional financial protection when you experience certain unexpected events. These plans work alongside your County medical coverage and may provide cash benefits directly to you to help with eligible expenses. Depending on the plan, benefits may be available for accidents, critical illnesses, hospitalization, or disability. Supplemental insurance does not replace your medical insurance and is intended to provide additional financial support when you need it most. Supplemental insurance benefits can only be elected during Open Enrollment, New Hire Enrollment and for Qualifying Events.
