    Deferred Compensation

    The Ohio County Employee Retirement Plan and Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program offer 457 Deferred Compensation plans to county employees. These programs give employees the opportunity to defer current income, contributing on a pre-tax basis, as a means to supplement future retirement income. Monies in a deferred compensation plan are generally not available unless the employee retires, terminates employment or changes jobs.
