Learn more about the Dependent Eligibility Audit

The County of Summit is conducting a Dependent Eligibility Audit during the annual open period, October 20 through November 3, 2025.

If you have one or more dependents enrolled in the County’s health insurance, you will be required to provide documentation to verify their eligibility for coverage.

You will be prompted to submit this documentation during your 2026 benefits enrollment in BenXpress. Once your documents have been received and approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the BenXpress Team.

If the dependent documentation you submitted is not approved, you have until November 21 to log back in to BenXpress and load the correct documentation. If you do not submit the correct documentation by this date, the unverified dependent(s) will be dropped from your insurance coverage.
