The Summit County Historical Society celebrated its centennial in 2024. Founded by seven women of the Cuyahoga-Portage Chapter of the DAR, the agency has a mission focused on preservation, interpretation and education of the rich local history of Akron and Summit County.

The Sensory Bus will be available to visit during the February 28th Health Fair. The unit will be placed in front of the SummitFit North Fitness Facility. The Summit DD booth will be available at the March 9th Health Fair.
