    Voluntary & Supplemental Benefits

Voluntary benefits, sometimes called supplemental insurance or employee-paid benefits, are offered by the employer through the workplace where employees can choose to buy them in addition to the core employee benefits they may get as part of a benefits package.  Voluntary benefits may be used for things other insurance may not cover, out-of-pocket expenses and household bills. Please note: Voluntary benefits can only be elected during Open Enrollment, New Hire Enrollment and for Qualifying Events.
