Health Savings Accounts (HSA): Do I get to keep my money in my HSA account or is this a "use it or lose it" plan?

The HSA is not a “use it or lose it plan”; it is a savings account for eligible medical expenses. All funds contributed to your HSA, including your bi-weekly contributions, rewards earned through the wellness platform, and the employer contributions, roll over from year to year. If you leave or retire from the County, the account remains yours, and you can continue to use the funds on eligible expenses after your employment ends.
